While dog sitting, our client took the dog to a local dog park. As she tried to protect the dog from being attacked by another dog brought in by the defendant, she was bitten on the hand. She underwent surgery and physical therapy for tendon damage caused by scar tissue. The case settled at mediation for $200,000.00.
