While working at a PetSmart Pet Hotel, our client was walking a Cane Corso to its designated room when the dog suddenly bit his right hand as he attempted to remove the leash. The injury required emergency care at Northside Hospital, including nine stitches administered by an orthopedic surgeon. The case was settled during litigation for $100,000.00.
