Our client was visiting his nephew when he stepped onto the porch to play with the family dog. Although the dog was tethered, it suddenly jumped on our client, causing him to fall backward off the porch resulting in a fractured pelvis, a broken left wrist, and a severe injury to his right shoulder requiring surgical tendon repair. The case settled pre-litigation for $300,000.00.
